Our Club
The Lee's Summit Sunrise Rotary club was founded in 1999. We have raised over $540,000 for charities both home and abroad. Currently our major fundraisers are Feed Lee's Summit (formerly Empty Bowls) and Fly the Flag.
Sunrise Rotary is a breakfast club that meets at 7:15 a.m. each Friday morning at the Gamber Community Center, located at 4 S.E. Independence Ave., Lee's Summit, MO, 64063.
Feed Lee's Summit (Empty Bowls) History
Since 2007, Feed Lee's Summit / Empty Bowls has raised more than $250,000 for non-profit food providers in Lee’s Summit.
The LS Sunrise Rotary Club is excited to continue building on the experience and foundation of inaugural 2019, following Empty Bowls prior success, with a goal of doubling the annual proceeds.

Lee's Summit Sunrise Rotary is strongly committed to the ideals of Rotary as depicted in our club vision statement: To be a vibrant service club that is engaged in the community at home and abroad.
Over the years Sunrise Rotary has developed a reputation for international service. It has hosted multiple international delegations and promoted school literacy and clean water abroad.
